At Ascend Children’s Lung, Asthma, and Allergy Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional, family-centered care for children with asthma, allergies, chronic cough, and other pediatric lung conditions. Founded by pediatric pulmonologist Dr. Zeni Scott, our practice combines advanced diagnostics with a compassionate, whole-child approach.
We believe that great care starts with trust, communication, and collaboration with families. Whether your child needs allergy testing, spirometry, asthma management, or immunotherapy, we create personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and lifestyle.
Located in Asheville, North Carolina, we proudly serve families from surrounding communities and rural areas—offering both in-person and telehealth visits to make care more accessible.

Dr. Zeni Scott is a pediatric pulmonologist and founder of Ascend Children’s Lung, Asthma, and Allergy Center in Asheville, NC. She is dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care for children with asthma, allergies, chronic cough, and other pediatric lung conditions.
Dr. Scott is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with families. She believes the best medical care is rooted in shared decision-making and a deep understanding of each child’s unique needs. Her approach is holistic—treating the child as a whole, not just a diagnosis.
At Ascend, Dr. Scott provides specialized services including pediatric asthma management, allergy testing, spirometry, and immunotherapy, all in a warm and family-friendly setting.
She lives in Asheville with her husband, daughter, and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, and watching movies.
